Denov is a city located in the Surxondaryo Region of southeast Uzbekistan. It serves as the administrative center for the Denov District and is situated within the Hissar Range near the border with Tajikistan.
The city is notable for its proximity to the archaeological sites of Kalchayan and Dalverzin Tepe, making it the closest major town to these locations. Additionally, Denov is believed to be the site of the ancient city of Chaghaniyan.
