Navoiy is a district-level city located in the central part of Uzbekistan. It serves as the capital of the Navoiy Region and includes the urban-type settlement of Tinchlik within its administrative boundaries.
The city was named in honor of Alisher Navoiy. As of 2024, the population of Navoiy was recorded at approximately 161,300 inhabitants.
