Rishton is a town located in the Hyndburn district of Lancashire, England. It is situated approximately 2 miles (3 km) west of Clayton-le-Moors and about 4 miles (6 km) northeast of Blackburn.
Historically, Rishton served as an urban district from roughly 1894 until 1974. According to the 2011 census, the town had a population of 6,625 residents.
