Qorasuv is a city located in the Qoʻrgʻontepa District of the Andijan Region in eastern Uzbekistan. It is situated approximately 50 km from the district capital of Andijan and lies within the Fergana Valley along the border with Kyrgyzstan.
The town's name translates to "black water" in the Uzbek language. As of 2016, Qorasuv had a population of 33,000 residents. The area is characterized by its location in a politically volatile and religiously conservative region.
