Weirton is a city located in Hancock and Brooke counties in the northern panhandle of West Virginia. It is situated along the Ohio River, bordering the states of Ohio and Pennsylvania.
As of the 2020 census, Weirton had a population of 19,163, making it the seventh-most populous city in the state of West Virginia.
