South Milwaukee is a city located in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, in the United States. It is situated on the western shore of Lake Michigan and serves as a residential community within the metropolitan area.
The city developed historically as a streetcar suburb positioned approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) south of Milwaukee. According to the 2020 census, South Milwaukee had a population of 20,795 residents.
