Mequon is the most populous city in Ozaukee County, located in the state of Wisconsin, United States. Situated on the western shore of Lake Michigan, it serves as a suburb within the Milwaukee metropolitan area.

The city has a population of 25,142 as of the 2020 census. While Mequon is the third-largest city in Wisconsin by land area, approximately half of its territory remains undeveloped. The local economy is characterized by significant commercial developments along Interstate 43 and a continued role for agriculture.
