Menasha is a city located in the state of Wisconsin within the United States. It spans two counties, Winnebago and Calumet, and is situated in the Fox Cities region. According to the 2020 census, the city had a total population of 18,268 residents.
The name Menasha originates from the Menominee language as "Menāēhsaeh," which translates to "little island." Historically, at the time of European contact, a Ho-Chunk village called "Menashay" was located on what is now known as Doty Island. Today, Doty Island is partially situated in Menasha and is shared with the neighboring city of Neenah.
