Chippewa Falls is a city located in Chippewa County, Wisconsin, in the United States. Situated along the Chippewa River, it serves as the county seat and is a principal city within the Eau Claire–Chippewa Falls metropolitan area.

Incorporated in 1869, the city's name is derived from its position on the Chippewa River, which was named after the Ojibwe people. According to the 2020 census, the population of the city was 14,731.
