West Falls Church is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Fairfax County, Virginia, in the United States. As of the 2020 census, the area had a population of 30,243 residents.
The area was officially named Jefferson prior to 2010. However, outside of the specific neighborhood known as Jefferson Village, "Jefferson" is generally not used locally to refer to the region bounding Falls Church city to the south and southwest. The name "West Falls Church" is also rarely used for the entire CDP; it typically refers specifically to areas west of Falls Church city or locations near the West Falls Church metro station.
The majority of the CDP consists of subdivisions constructed during the 1940s and early 1950s. Notable residential communities within this area include Jefferson Village, Westlawn, Hillwood, Sleepy Hollow, Woodley, Raymondale, and Broyhill Park.
