Tooele is a city located in Tooele County in the state of Utah, United States. Situated approximately 40 minutes southwest of Salt Lake City, it serves as the county seat for Tooele County. According to the 2020 census, the city had a population of 35,742.
The city is notable for its proximity to several geographic and industrial landmarks, including views of the Great Salt Lake and the Oquirrh Mountains. It is also known as the location of the Tooele Army Depot.
