Holladay is a city located in central Salt Lake County, Utah, in the United States. It serves as part of the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Statistical Area and shares a border with the Wasatch National Forest.
The city was incorporated on November 29, 1999, following its previous designation as the Holladay-Cottonwood Census Designated Place (CDP) in the 1990 census. Since incorporation, the population has grown significantly from 14,561 in 2000 to 31,965 by the 2020 census, a trend attributed largely to the annexation of unincorporated land in 2002 and 2015.
