Wichita Falls is a city located in the state of Texas, United States. It serves as the county seat of Wichita County and is the principal city of the Wichita Falls metropolitan statistical area, which includes all of Archer, Clay, and Wichita Counties.
According to the 2020 census, the city had a population of 102,316, ranking it as the 43rd-most populous city in Texas. The city is home to Midwestern State University, which enrolls more than 5,500 students.
