West Odessa is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located in Ector County, Texas, in the United States. It is situated on the west side of the city of Odessa and serves as a component of the larger Odessa metropolitan area.
As of the 2020 census, West Odessa had a recorded population of 33,340 residents. The area functions as a distinct residential and geographic entity within the regional infrastructure of the Permian Basin.
