Rio Grande City is a city located in the state of Texas, United States. It serves as the county seat of Starr County and has a recorded population of 15,317 based on the 2020 census.
The city is situated approximately 41 miles west of McAllen. It is connected to Camargo, Tamaulipas, by the Rio Grande City–Camargo International Bridge.
