Port Lavaca is a city located in Calhoun County in the state of Texas, United States. It serves as the county seat and is situated approximately 130 miles (210 km) southwest of Houston.
The city is part of the Port Lavaca, Texas micropolitan statistical area. According to census data, the population was 12,248 in 2010 and decreased to 11,557 by the 2020 census.
