New Caney is an unincorporated community located in Montgomery County, Texas, within the United States. It is situated inside the Houston–The Woodlands–Sugar Land metropolitan area.
As of the 2010 census, the population of the New Caney area was recorded at 19,987. By 2016, the estimated population had grown to approximately 22,000 residents.
