Killeen is a city located in Bell County in the state of Texas, United States. It serves as the principal city of the Killeen–Temple–Fort Hood Metropolitan Statistical Area and is the largest of the three principal cities within Bell County.
According to the 2020 census, the city had a population of 153,095, ranking it as the 19th-most populous city in Texas. Geographically, Killeen is situated approximately 68 miles north of Austin, 125 miles southwest of Dallas, and 125 miles northeast of San Antonio.
