Cinco Ranch is a planned community located in the United States within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of Houston. It spans parts of both Fort Bend and Harris counties in the state of Texas. The community is situated approximately 25 miles west of Houston, 10 miles north of Richmond, and roughly 10 miles southeast of the city of Katy.
Originally defined as a census-designated place during the 2000 U.S. census, Cinco Ranch has since expanded in size. As of the 2020 census, the area had a population of 16,899 and is considered to be part of the Greater Katy area.
