Cibolo is a city located in Guadalupe and Bexar counties in Texas, United States. It is situated within the San Antonio–New Braunfels metropolitan statistical area. The city officially voted to become an independent township on October 9, 1965.
The region surrounding Cibolo was primarily settled by German emigrants during the mid-1800s. According to the 2020 census, the city had a population of 32,276, representing a significant increase from its 2010 population of 15,349.
