East Ridge

East Ridge is a city located in Hamilton County, Tennessee, within the United States. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 22,167 residents and serves as part of the Chattanooga, TN–GA Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The city is geographically situated east of Missionary Ridge, which provides the basis for its name. It is bordered by the city of Chattanooga to the north, east, and west, while the Georgia state line defines its southern boundary. A notable geographical feature of the area includes the Bachman Tubes beneath Missionary Ridge, which connect East Ridge with downtown Chattanooga.
