Lower Moyamensing

Lower Moyamensing is a neighborhood located in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, within the United States. It is situated just south of the East Passyunk Crossing neighborhood and north of the stadium area. The neighborhood is bounded by Snyder Avenue to the north, Oregon Avenue to the south, South 7th Street to the east, and South Broad Street to the west.

The area was originally part of Moyamensing Township before it was incorporated into Philadelphia in 1854. It is sub-divided by 10th Street into two sections known as LoMo East and LoMo West. The neighborhood is characterized by its 19th-century row homes, factory buildings, and a diverse variety of restaurants.

South Philadelphia High School is located within the neighborhood at the corner of Broad and Jackson Streets.
