Honesdale is a borough and the county seat of Wayne County in northeastern Pennsylvania, United States. It is situated along the Lackawaxen River within the northern Pocono region, located approximately 32 miles (51 km) northeast of Scranton.
The borough serves as a primary commercial and cultural hub for its surrounding rural area. According to the 2020 census, Honesdale had a population of 4,458 residents.
