Milwaukie is a city located primarily in Clackamas County, Oregon, in the United States, with a small portion extending into Multnomah County. It currently serves as a suburb of Portland and adjoins the unincorporated areas of Clackamas and Oak Grove. According to the 2020 census, the city had a population of 21,119.
Founded in 1847 on the banks of the Willamette River, Milwaukie was officially incorporated in 1903. The city is known as the "Dogwood City of the West" and is recognized as the birthplace of the Bing cherry.
