Owasso is a city located in Rogers and Tulsa Counties in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. It serves as the largest northern suburb of Tulsa. According to the 2022 census estimate, the city has a population of 39,328 people, representing a 36 percent increase from its 2010 census figure of 28,915.
The area was originally settled in 1881 within Indian Territory. The town was incorporated in 1904, shortly before Oklahoma achieved statehood, and was officially chartered as a city in 1972.
