Guymon is a city located in the panhandle of Oklahoma, United States. It serves as the county seat of Texas County and currently stands as the largest city in the Oklahoma Panhandle region.
The local economy is primarily driven by cattle feedlots, corporate pork farms, and natural gas production. In recent years, wind energy production and transmission have begun to diversify the activities of local landowners' farms.
According to the 2010 and 2020 United States Census reports, Guymon was the only municipality in Oklahoma where the majority of the population identified as Hispanic. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 12,965.
