Whitehall is a prominent road and district located in the City of Westminster in Central London, England. It serves as the primary thoroughfare running south from Trafalgar Square toward Parliament Square and forms the initial section of the A3212 road leading to Chelsea.
The area is recognized as the center of the United Kingdom government, housing numerous official departments and ministries such as the Ministry of Defence, Horse Guards, the Cabinet Office, and a significant portion of the Foreign Office.
