Collinwood is a historical neighborhood located in the northeastern part of Cleveland, Ohio. Originally established as a village within Euclid Township, it was officially annexed by the city of Cleveland in 1910.
The development of Collinwood was primarily driven by its proximity to the rail yards of the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railway. These tracks serve as a geographic divider for the area, splitting it into two distinct neighborhoods: North Shore Collinwood and Collinwood–Nottingham. In 2008, Travel + Leisure identified Collinwood as one of America's Best Secret Neighborhoods.
