Yonkers is a city located in Westchester County, New York, in the United States. It is situated as an inner suburb of New York City, positioned immediately north of the Bronx and approximately 2.4 miles (4 km) north of Marble Hill.
The city is the most populous municipality in Westchester County and ranks as the third-most populous city in the state of New York. According to the 2020 census, Yonkers had a population of 211,569, which marked its highest decennial census count to date.
