The Upper West Side (UWS) is a neighborhood located in the borough of Manhattan in New York City, United States. It is geographically defined by Central Park to the east, the Hudson River to the west, West 59th Street to the south, and West 110th Street to the north.
The neighborhood is situated adjacent to several other areas, including Hell's Kitchen to the south, Columbus Circle to the southeast, and Morningside Heights to the north.
