Throggs Neck is a neighborhood and peninsula located in the southeastern portion of the Bronx borough in New York City, United States. It is geographically defined by its position along the waterfront, bordered by the East River and Long Island Sound to the south and east.
The area is bounded by Westchester Creek on its western side, while Baisley Avenue and the Bruckner Expressway form its northern boundaries. The neighborhood occupies a distinct peninsula landmass within the city's southeastern reach.
