Port Chester

Port Chester is a village located in southeast Westchester County, New York, within the United States. It serves as the most populous portion of the town of Rye and is situated within the New York City metropolitan statistical area. The village borders the state of Connecticut to the west and the town of Greenwich to the east.

As of the 2020 census, Port Chester had a population of 31,693. It holds a unique legal status as one of only 12 villages in New York that remains incorporated under a charter, distinguishing it from other villages that were incorporated or reincorporated under Village Law.
