Mott Haven is a primarily residential neighborhood located in the southwestern section of the Bronx borough in New York City, United States. The area is generally defined by its proximity to several major landmarks and transportation routes.
The neighborhood's boundaries are roughly situated between East 149th Street to the north, the Bruckner Expressway to the east and south, and the Harlem River to the west. East 138th Street serves as the primary east–west thoroughfare passing through the district.
