Irondequoit is a town located in Monroe County, New York, in the United States. It serves as a suburb of the city of Rochester, situated directly to the north and east of the city limits.
As of the 2020 census, the coterminous town-CDP had a population of 51,043. The name Irondequoit is derived from Iroquois origin and translates to "where the land meets the water."
