East Elmhurst is a residential neighborhood situated in the northwest section of the borough of Queens in New York City, United States. It is geographically defined by several surrounding areas, including Jackson Heights and Corona to the south, Bowery Bay to the north and east, and Woodside and Ditmars Steinway to the west.
The neighborhood is notable for housing significant infrastructure and landmarks, most notably LaGuardia Airport, which is located on the shore of Flushing Bay. Other prominent features within the area include Astoria Heights and the LaGuardia Landing Lights Fields.
