West Caldwell is a township situated in the West Essex area of northwestern Essex County in New Jersey, United States. It is located approximately 16 miles west of Manhattan and 6 miles northwest of Newark.
According to the 2020 United States census, the township had a population of 11,012 residents. This figure represented an increase of 253 people from the 2010 census count of 10,759, which followed a decline from the 11,233 residents recorded in 2000.
