Glassboro

Glassboro is a borough located within Gloucester County in the state of New Jersey, United States. It is situated within the Philadelphia metropolitan area and is part of the region known as South Jersey.

As of the 2020 United States census, the borough had a population of 23,149, marking its highest decennial count to date. This figure represents a significant increase of 24.6% from the 2010 census. Much of this recent and projected growth is attributed to the expansion of Rowan University, which was founded in 1923 as Glassboro State College.
