East Brunswick is a township located in Middlesex County in the state of New Jersey, United States. It serves as a suburban bedroom community within the New York metropolitan area and is situated on the southern shore of the Raritan River.
The township is positioned directly adjacent to New Brunswick and is located approximately 29 miles (47 km) from New York City. According to the 2020 United States census, East Brunswick had a population of 49,715, marking its highest decennial count to date.
