Papillion is a city located in the state of Nebraska, United States. It serves as the county seat of Sarpy County and is situated as a southwest suburb of Omaha. The city is integrated into the larger five-county metropolitan area of Omaha.

Originally developed in the 1870s as a railroad town, Papillion has experienced significant growth since the late 20th century, mirroring the expansion of the surrounding Omaha region. According to the 2020 census, the city had a population of 24,159, ranking it as the seventh most populous city in Nebraska.
