Laurinburg is a city located in south central North Carolina, United States. It serves as the county seat of Scotland County and is situated near the border with South Carolina, positioned southwest of Fayetteville.
The city had a population of 14,978 according to the 2020 Census. Historically, Laurinburg was home to St. Andrews University.
