Biloxi is a city located in Harrison County in southern Mississippi, United States. Situated on the Gulf Coast, it borders the city of Gulfport to its west. Both Biloxi and Gulfport serve as seats of Harrison County.
As of the 2020 census, Biloxi had a population of 49,449, making it the fourth-most populous city in the state. It serves as a principal city of the Gulfport–Biloxi metropolitan area, which recorded a total population of 416,259 in 2020. The first European settlers to inhabit the area were French colonists.
