Poplar Bluff is a city located in the state of Missouri, United States. It serves as the county seat of Butler County and has a population of 16,225 according to the 2020 census. The city is situated at the crossroads of U.S. Route 60 and U.S. Route 67.

The city is frequently referred to by the nickname "The Gateway to the Ozarks." Additionally, the Poplar Bluff Micropolitan Statistical Area encompasses all of Butler County.
