Inver Grove Heights is a city located in Dakota County, Minnesota, in the United States. According to the 2020 census, the city had a population of 35,801 residents.
The municipality was officially formed on March 9, 1965. Its establishment resulted from the merger of two existing entities: the village of Inver Grove and Inver Grove Township.
