Hibbing

Hibbing is a city located in Saint Louis County, Minnesota, in the United States. According to the 2020 census, the city had a population of 16,214 residents.

The city was originally established based on the mining of rich iron ore from the Mesabi Iron Range. This industry remains a primary economic driver for the area today. Notably, the Hull–Rust–Mahoning Open Pit Iron Mine, which is recognized as the world's largest open-pit iron mine, is situated at the edge of the city.
