Rochester Hills

Rochester Hills is a city located in Oakland County, Michigan, in the United States. It serves as a northern suburb of Detroit, situated approximately 25 miles (40 km) north of the downtown area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 76,300.

The region was first settled by European Americans in 1817 and was organized as Avon Township in 1835. The city of Rochester was incorporated in 1967, while the remaining portion of Avon Township was incorporated and renamed the city of Rochester Hills in 1984.
