Cassopolis is a village located in the state of Michigan, United States. It serves as the county seat for Cass County and is situated primarily within LaGrange Township, with a small portion extending into Penn Township.
The village and the surrounding county derive their names from Lewis Cass. He was a New Hampshire native who became a prominent U.S. senator from Michigan prior to the American Civil War.
