Randallstown is an unincorporated community and census-designated place located in Baltimore County, Maryland, in the United States. It serves as a suburb of Baltimore with a population of 33,655 as recorded in the 2020 census.
The area was named after Christopher and Thomas Randall, who were tavern-keepers during the 18th century. During that period, Randallstown functioned as a tollgate crossroads on the Liberty Turnpike, which served as a significant east–west thoroughfare. In the 1990s, the community transitioned to a majority African American population, reaching 72 percent by 2020.
