Odenton is a census-designated place (CDP) situated in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, in the United States. It is geographically positioned west of the state capital, Annapolis, and lies south of Baltimore and northeast of Washington, D.C.
The community experienced significant growth over the first decade of the 21st century, with its population increasing from 20,534 in the 2000 census to 37,132 by the 2010 census. It is located approximately 10–20 minutes from Annapolis.
