North Bethesda is a census-designated place located in Montgomery County, Maryland, in the United States. It is situated just northwest of Washington, D.C., and had a recorded population of 50,094 as of the 2020 census.
The community features several distinct neighborhoods, most notably White Flint, which serves as the primary commercial and residential hub within the urbanizing district. The region is also home to the Pike & Rose development and the Pike District, a branding initiative by Montgomery County intended to market the area as "North Bethesda's Urban Core." Public transportation in the area is supported by the WMATA North Bethesda and Grosvenor-Strathmore metro stations.
