Montgomery Village is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Montgomery County, Maryland, in the United States. It serves as a northern suburb of Washington, D.C., and is situated just outside the city limits of Gaithersburg.
The area is characterized as a large, planned suburban community that was developed during the late 1960s and 1970s. As part of the Washington metropolitan area, Montgomery Village had a recorded population of 34,893 at the time of the 2020 U.S. census.
